Pre-launch verification notice
These documents are detailed draft notices. The supplied company number identifies a dissolved company, not a verified active operator. The operator’s legal identity, contact details, merchant permissions and live privacy configuration must be confirmed before commercial launch. See legal information.
Wise Fern is an advertising publisher, not an online shop. We do not process Acorn Dreams orders, take payments, dispatch goods or approve refunds. Purchases are made on Top Gadget Life’s separate website. This page explains the distinction and provides general information about rights that may apply to UK consumers; it does not promise a seller-specific return scheme.
1. Your purchase is with the seller
Your contract for the product is with the merchant identified at checkout, not with Wise Fern. Check the merchant’s full legal name, country, contact details, delivery terms and returns policy before paying. Save your order confirmation and a copy of the terms that applied to your purchase.
Visit Top Gadget Life’s product page and follow its Refund Policy and Contact Us links for current instructions. We have not verified its UK return address, return costs, delivery eligibility or refund processing arrangements. Any voluntary promise offered by the seller is separate from the statutory rights applicable to your purchase.
2. Cancelling an online order
Where the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 apply, most online purchases of goods can be cancelled without giving a reason within 14 days after the day you, or a person nominated by you, receives the goods. For an order delivered in multiple instalments, the period usually runs from receipt of the last item. You must communicate a clear decision to cancel to the seller within the applicable period.
After notifying the seller, you normally have another 14 days to return the goods. The seller should provide a return destination and any necessary reference. Do not return goods to Wise Fern or to an address found in an advertisement. If the seller fails to provide legally required cancellation information, the cancellation period may be extended.
3. Refunds and delivery charges
For a qualifying cancellation, the seller must normally refund the price and the cost of its least expensive standard delivery option. Additional costs for an upgraded delivery service need not be refunded. The refund is generally due within 14 days after the seller receives the returned goods, or evidence that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier; the seller may withhold a refund pending that evidence where permitted.
Refunds should normally use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, and you should not incur a refund fee. Currency conversion differences and payment-provider charges can arise on an overseas purchase; ask your payment provider about these before ordering.
4. Condition and return postage
You may inspect goods as you would in a shop. A seller may make a lawful deduction for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. Keep accessories and packaging where possible, photograph the condition, and retain proof of posting.
For a change-of-mind return, you may be responsible for direct return postage if the seller informed you of this before the contract. The return may be overseas and costs may be significant. Ask the seller to confirm the country and cost of return before buying. Faulty-goods return costs are treated differently under applicable consumer law.
5. Faulty, damaged or incorrectly described goods
Where the Consumer Rights Act 2015 applies, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. A short-term right to reject generally lasts 30 days, subject to the statutory rules. After that, repair or replacement may be available, followed in qualifying circumstances by a price reduction or final rejection. This summary does not limit your rights.
Contact the seller promptly with your order number, a description of the problem and clear photographs. Reasonable costs of returning goods rejected for a qualifying fault are normally the trader’s responsibility. Do not continue to use a damaged ornament; keep small parts away from children and pets.
6. Exceptions and overseas purchases
Some goods, such as genuinely personalised or made-to-order items, may be excluded from the change-of-mind cancellation right. An exception must actually apply to your product; ordinary decorative ornaments are not automatically exempt. An exception to cancellation does not remove rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods.
Cross-border purchases can raise questions about applicable law and enforcement. A seller targeting UK consumers may still have obligations under UK consumer law, but enforcing rights abroad may be more difficult. For tailored assistance, contact Citizens Advice; for eligible international disputes, consider the UK International Consumer Centre.
7. Help and complaints
First contact the merchant through the contact details on your order confirmation. If it does not resolve the matter, check any available marketplace or payment-provider dispute process and its time limits. Chargeback is scheme-based; credit-card protection under section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act may apply only where its specific requirements are met.
For questions about this website, write to Wise Fern, 5 Freston Road, London W10 6TT, United Kingdom, or call +44 20 7033 2950. This is the publisher contact supplied for the site, not a verified merchant return address. Do not send goods to this address without written instructions from the seller.
